One note for all classes. You will have a SmartMusic playing assessment before the mid tri (Thursday). So plan on it.
Second, to the 9th grade band. I had told you before that you would be going on a field trip the day before our last concert. This does not set us up for the best possible performance. We need to come up with some solutions for what we can do to correct the situation. Your field trip day is important. You should go, it is a great and extremely fun learning opportunity.
Now that being said we need to brainstorm how we are going to play get some playing time between May 12th and May 13th at 7:15 pm.

We did talk about it earlier in the trimester. It is the Science field trip. So as a class we will work out a plan.

I think on May 13 we should get out of a class to practice with each other if your schedule allows it.
That is great idea that I had also considered Trevor. The only problem is that there isn't an hour available in the day on Tuesday. They are all taken with Orchestra and Band classes. But keep the ideas comming!
Going off of Trevor's idea, what if we did a rehearsal during classes on May 12th?

mr.t i thinking something after school... but i dont think that could work for the whole band. but insted of coming at the usual time on the 13th why not come _ hours earlier?

well, I can't think of anything, but just thought I'd leave a comment, because it's sort of hard since May 12 is on a monday, and May 13 is on a tuesday.

I think the idea of staying after school on the 13th would work the best since we dont play until late that night

but if we can't do that, we should try to find a day to stay after school and rehearse then..

How about we stay after school, and who ever shows up shows up? It would leave our performance up to us.

I think Staying after school or coming in early would be a good option, but I don't know if that would work for the whole band, just a thought.
